Online Code of Conduct
TSIA.com, TSIA Portal, and TSIA Discussions (“Sites”) are respectful environments for all visitors and registered users, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic.
All visitors and registered Users are expected to follow this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in denial of access.
Expected Behavior
- Communicating in a respectful and professional manner, free from personal attacks or insults
- Respect for the opinions, ideas, and perspectives of others
- Use of appropriate language
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are not tolerated and may result in immediate denial of access:
- Harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, verbal abuse, defamation, defrauding, aggressive behavior, discrimination, use of derogatory or discriminatory language or slurs, or bullying against any person or entity, including any such behavior that is based on any personal characteristic such as gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic
- Sexual harassment, including unwanted sexual advances, comments, or gestures
- Displaying, sending, receiving, or storing obscene or inappropriate content
- Violating copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws
- Violating or encouraging the violation of any applicable law in your Site content or by your conduct on the Site or with the services provided therein
- Engaging in or promoting any illegal or criminal activity such as child pornography, gambling, or piracy
- Advertising, promoting, endorsing, or marketing, directly or indirectly, any third party commercial products, services, solutions, or other technologies
- Distributing unwanted, unsolicited, or harassing mass email or other messages, promotions, advertising, or solicitations (“spam”)
- Using, copying, or republishing the Site or Site content to provide services or for commercial purposes
- Providing content or engaging in conduct on the Site or with the services therein that falsely states or implies that such content or conduct is sponsored or endorsed by TSIA or that the Visitor or User is somehow sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with TSIA
- Engaging in conduct that TSIA believes, in its sole judgment and discretion, inhibits or limits another Visitor’s or User’s use or enjoyment of the Site
- Attempting to collect, store, or publish personally identifiable information (a) without the owner’s knowledge and consent or (b) of a minor under the age of sixteen (16) in any circumstance
- Violating the privacy rights of anyone, by posting sensitive personal information of another on the Site or otherwise
- Sending deceptive or false source-identifying information, including “spoofing” or “phishing”
- Accessing or using any application, system, service, tool, data, account, network, or content without authorization or for unlawful purposes
- Disabling, disrupting, circumventing, interfering with, or otherwise violating the security of the Site
- Attacking, abusing, interfering with, intercepting, disrupting, or exploiting any users, systems, or services, regardless of how accomplished and notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this document, including but not limited to Denial of Service (DoS), monitoring, crawling, scraping, spamming, using bots or scripts, or distributing malware (such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms, spyware, or adware)
- Authorizing, permitting, enabling, inducing, or encouraging any third party to do any of the above.
Reporting Violations
If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to TSIA at privacy@tsia.com. We take all reports seriously and will take appropriate action to address violations. All reports will be kept confidential to the extent possible.
